Water Safety Camps, Lifeguard Prep Camp, swimming Lessons

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a lifeguard? Stop wondering and give it a try at our Lifeguard Prep Camp at Nations Tobin Aquatic Center for ages 12 to 15 years.
The Lifeguard Preparation camp will provide participants the knowledge and skills to become lifeguards in the future. Participants will learn lifeguarding skills to help prepare them to pass a lifeguard course.
Prerequisites: Participants need to have a familiarity of the water. They need to be able to swim the length of the pool with front crawl (freestyle) and/or breaststroke. The face may be in or out of the water. Participants will be in the water as well as on land practicing with manikins learning CPR techniques. No certifications will be given out at this time. Classes will progress according to the participants in the class. Swim suits are required, preferably a one-piece for young ladies, and white or grey shirts will be permitted for this class. Bring at least 2 towels, sunblock, and water.
