Emma Carr 2018 DPC William Cowan Memorial Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to our 2018 Drowning Prevention Coalition of El Paso William Cowan Scholarship recipient Emma Carr. Emma will be attending UT Permian Basin in Odessa, Tx. Each year the coalition chooses a graduating senior that exhibits our mission of educating others about how to prevent non fatal and fatal drownings. Emma respects the water by teaching swimming lessons and water safety that helps save lives. Her parents, Doug And LeAnn Carr; brother, Levi Johnson and wife Lisa Marie; grandfather, Ed Johnson; along with Aqua Posse teammates were at the pool to see her receive her check.
