2026 Christian Castle Lifeguard Olympics
Join Us for the Christian Castle Lifeguard Olympics The Drowning Prevention Coalition and Wet N Wild Waterworld are proud to host the annual Christian Castle Lifeguard Olympics, a city- and county-wide event that brings together lifeguard teams, judges, and volunteers for a day of competition, lifesaving challenges, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Why Participate We invite local El Paso pools, water parks, the City and County of El Paso, Fort Bliss, the YWCA, and the YMCA to join us in celebrating lifeguards and promoting water safety across our community. Your participation highlights lifesaving skills, builds teamwork, and reinforces our Respecting the Water message. If your organization plans to participate, please email us by July 1, 2026, with your approximate number of teams, organization logo and whether you can provide volunteers. We also request permission to use your organization’s logo on the back of the lifeguard T-shirts.
NEW Team Divisions
Seasonal: Teams must include four seasonal lifeguards from a summer facility, pool, or water park.
Year-Round: Teams must include four lifeguards who work at indoor facilities.
*Please note -mixed seasonal and year-round teams are not eligible for seasonal recognition.
Event Details Time: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Date: August 2, 2026 Registration Deadline: July 13, 2026, by 3 PM
Location: Wet N Wild Waterworld, 8804 South Desert Blvd. Directions: Construction in area. Take Vinton exit #3 from 1-10 or Doniphan to Wildcat.
